Munkáim a festészet hagyományos síkját bontják meg azáltal, hogy a vászon vagy fatábla felületét perforálom, lyukasztom.
Izgalmasnak találom, ahogy a kép síkja és a tér párbeszédbe lép egymással. A lyukasztás aktusa számomra nem pusztítás, hanem feltárás. Olyan gesztus, amelyben a kép új dimenziót nyer, „lélegzik”, átjárhatóvá válik.
Különösen érdekel, miként alakul át a „képfelület” fogalma, amikor hiány és áttörés határozza meg.
Munkáimban ezért a törékenység és az erő, a határ és az átmenet, a hiány és a teljesség paradoxonait kutatom. A perforált festészet számomra egyszerre személyes és univerzális nyelv, ami kifejezi saját küzdelmeimet a határok áttörésével. Egyben a nézőt is meghívja, hogy a képen túli térbe lépjen saját érzéseivel és asszociációival, mintha a kép egyszerre lenne ablak, vagy átjáró.
My work disrupts the traditional plane of painting by perforating and puncturing the surface of canvas or wooden panels.
I find it fascinating how the picture plane enters into dialogue with space. For me, the act of perforation is not destruction but revelation: a gesture through which the painting gains a new dimension, breathes, and becomes permeable.
I am particularly interested in how the very notion of the “picture surface” transforms when it is defined by absence and rupture.
In my practice, I explore the paradoxes of fragility and strength, boundary and transition, absence and wholeness. Perforated painting is, for me, both a personal and a universal language: it expresses my own struggles with breaking through limits, while also inviting the viewer to step beyond the surface with their own feelings and associations – as if the image were at once a window and a passage.
